What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?
When I was younger I was very self-conscious about my smile due to crowding and spacing. I eventually got braces, and I felt like it changed my life. The ability to be able to transform someone's smile and greatly improve their self-confidence—that is what drove me into dentistry and progressively to oral surgery.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Whenever we are able to defy a patient's expectation and create an excellent dental experience for them, despite whatever fears or anxieties may be present.
How do you recharge after a long week? What’s your go-to activity for hitting the restart button?
There is nothing better then just getting together with friends and sharing a meal and stories.
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?
Teeth's ability to grow! I've seen teeth grow in every corner of the jaw, from the floor of the nose to the bottom of the chin.
When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to {blank} in my headphones.

What’s something that really, really, really makes you smile? Like, really?
