What (or who) inspired you to get into dentistry? How so?
As a child, I was always at the dentist having my baby teeth removed — I only pulled 3 or 4 myself. By being there all the time, I became very interested and would always ask questions. I did my research, and by 8th grade I knew I wanted to be a hygienist.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is educating and seeing the improvements in people's mouths. Also, the connections I make with my patients.
What is the absolute coolest thing about the human mouth?
How the mouth can affect your whole body!
In another life, if you weren’t working in dentistry, what would you be doing?
In another life, I’d probably be a psychologist or a veterinarian. I love animals and psychology!
When I’m in the patient chair, I’m probably grooving to [blank] in my headphones.
