Dr. Alexa even hummed (v well!) through my fillings 😂 She took the extra time to floss my fluoride treatment through my teeth, even though it was a particularly busy morning. Also- the toothbrushes in their guest bags are the best. Highly recommend!
Really nice experience here. I was a little concerned that all the extra perks and comfort features may be surface level since that doesn’t necessarily indicate how good the service will be. But my dentist was 100% competent and capable and the team was really friendly both times I’ve been now. Impressed!
Outstanding experience! My appointment was on time and everything was explained to me before services were provided. I was especially impressed with their Lead Hygienist (Louis), who was incredibly thorough and a pleasure to deal with. He devoted his full attention to me and I felt like I was the only patient receiving care. So happy to have found a location that I will use as my regular dental provider. Such a great experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and took very good care of me. Dr Elhag went above and beyond to calm my nerves, explained everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Best dentist I have ever been to. I had a tooth break on a Saturday. Tend took me the same day, when my dentists office was closed until Monday. I can say confidently it was the greatest experience I have had. Not only was the office beautiful, with very modern technology, but the staff was incredibly gentle, kind, and generous. I suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and after this experience I will be switching to this office for my primary care.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Gloria Andrews at Tend Chelsea for over two years, and I can confidently say she’s amazing! Dr. Andrews has the most upbeat and bubbly personality, making every visit a pleasure. She is incredibly kind, patient, and detail-oriented. I’ve been undergoing Invisalign treatment with her, and her perfectionism ensures my teeth are perfectly aligned to my liking before completing the process—a quality I deeply appreciate. She genuinely cares about her patients and encourages me to reach out anytime with questions or concerns. Dr. Andrews is truly the best, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
[My hygienist] really cared about my teeth and took the extra mile to properly clean it, take pictures, explain to them, answer my questions, and give me suggestions. I would usually be at the dentist for about 20-40 minutes at most, but I spent over an hour with her, and honestly, I think she did a 5-star job.
I don’t have enough good things to say about Tend. I have had a history of dental anxiety but now for the first time in my life, I look forward to going to the dentist. I visited Tend Midtown on an emergency basis today and had a lot of reservations because horrible past experiences with dentists. I was blown away at how friendly and accommodating everyone was. Let me start off by saying the facility and equipment are nest level. I was greeted by Sidney who automatically made me feel better. Janelle was a Godsend. Her calming demeanor and professionalism are the reasons I will return. She completly eased my anxiety! Lisa explained everything regarding my condition and the treatment plan. This was definitely the best dental experience to date!
Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process. Great experience getting a tooth filling redone in my first visit. Both the doctor and dental hygienist were super friendly and made the procedure quick and easy. Although my insurance is paying for most of the treatment, I really appreciate how upfront and straightforward they are about the cost of the treatment.
The time between when I first made contact with Tend and when I had my custom night guard in my hand was 15 days, which has to be some sort of record. All for about half the price that other dentists in the area quoted me. The dentist and her hygienist/assistant were very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. I’m very grateful to Tend!

Your first visit will include a comprehensive exam, a detailed review of your oral health, and time to talk through any concerns or goals you have. We’ll make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and fully supported from the moment you walk in.
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:

- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
