At Tend, we’ll first apply your insurance benefits and clearly explain what’s covered. If there’s an out-of-pocket cost, you can use CareCredit to break that remaining balance into monthly payments if you’re approved.

Sometimes, there is a slight delay between your visit and when the bill is posted to your account. We will alert you when your bill is ready via text message and/or email, depending on your notification preferences.

To ensure all Tend members have access to specialist care, we require a deposit of up to $500 for these appointments. This applies to services such as oral surgery, extractions, dental implants, endodontics, and veneers.

If you need to make changes or cancel, the refund of your deposit depends on how much notice you give. Cancellations made with more than 72 hours’ notice will receive a full refund, those made between 24 and 72 hours’ notice will receive half of the deposit back, and cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded.

For cleanings, checkups, and whitening appointments, the first and second missed visits do not have a fee, as we understand that life happens. A third missed appointment may be subject to a $50 fee, and a fourth or any subsequent missed appointments could be $100 each.

For all other visits, including treatments like fillings, crowns, clear aligners, emergency visits, and more, the first and second missed appointments also do not have a fee. A third missed visit may carry a $100 fee, and a fourth or any additional missed appointments could be $200 each. Please note that free consultations are excluded from this policy.
