Dr. Eric Ho is the Lead Dentist at Tend’s Golden Triangle studio in Washington, D.C., where he brings a calm, compassionate approach to general dentistry. He earned his dental degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine, and has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.
As a clinical leader, Dr. Ho is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care. I was extremely nervous upon arrival. Turns out I worried unnecessarily, My root canal which was performed by Dr. Alex was absolutely painless. He explained everything the treatment would entail prior to the procedure and I never experienced any discomfort during or after the procedure. The doctor, the hygeinist and the front desk personnel all worked together to make this a positive experience.
The office is a clean, modern aesthetic that makes you feel relaxed. Staff are super friendly, cleaning process felt smooth. Everyone is transparent with procedures and don’t shame you for your health. I look forward to future visits with them.

Tend dental is a spa for your teeth. I visited two days in a row this week and both times, the staff were welcoming, professional, and efficient. Every time I visit tend, I never have to wait, the staff is always on time. The entertainment system is so great, I have to remind myself I am in the chair for a procedure, not just to be entertained. For my 2nd visit, the email said the procedure would take 50 minutes, and that is exactly how long it took. Tend is truly the best dental office I have ever been to.
Literally the same dental procedures you can get done at any dentist, but such a more relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Staff was attentive and helpfully explained every part of the process. Gorgeous modern office. Laid back and watched Netflix during my cleaning - didn’t even notice time was passing! Definitely a “millennial” dentist.
The staff here at Navy Yard are the best!!! Dr. Turkson, Dr. Showkatian and Roxy made me feel so comfortable once again. Im ine to be petrified of the dentist the sounds make me out of control. Just left my first visit at Tend Cobble Hill, I was super nervous because who likes to go to the dentist 😩. I was greeted by Ruthie who took care of me. She was so professional, kind and patient. Great facility, all the stuff I love about Tend + the friendliest staff out of the three offices I've gone to. The receptionist today was super helpful and patient while I was figuring out my cards and took the time to walk me through a number of options for my root canal. Really appreciated her, the hygienist, and the doctor I saw.

I get very nervous going to the dentist but I was completely at ease here. The hygenist and dentist were extremely knowledgeable and thorough. My experience was wonderful. Staff and dentists are all warm, caring, and nonjudgmental. I’ve been going to Tend for about a year now, they’re absolutely wonderful. There’s never any wait, they take you right at your appointment time. My hygienist was Christine and she was amazing. She educated me on some things, was very friendly, very gentle with the cleaning because I have very sensitive teeth. They never push anything on you and they’re very thorough with their cleanings. It’s also a very clean environment which you definitely want! I’d highly recommend!

It's a bonus that despite the swanky feel of the office and the really thoughtful service, they don't try to upsell you and the prices for out-of-pocket expenses are reasonable and discussed upfront.

I can't say enough great things about my experience at Tend Post Office Square. Their whole team - from administration/management to the dental staff - truly care and have been so accommodating throughout my entire treatment plan (Invisalign and veneers). The dental team is highly competent and was very thorough at each visit. They really are the best, 10/10 recommend this office to everyone.
The best part was definitely the cleaning process, where my dental hygienist...was able to remove all the build-up on my teeth that had accumulated over a long period of time meanwhile minimizing the pain. She was so friendly and took the time to clearly explain the results of her examination...She was all-around skilled and professional and so kind.
Dr. Lina is awesome. She is very professional, kind and does beautiful work (I needed to have a crown replaced because of a cavity that had formed underneath). She tells you everything she is doing every step of the way and continually checks that you are okay. She has the loveliest, calmest bedside manner (a great dentist for all, but would be especially good for those who are very anxious about going to the dentist). Really I can't say enough good things about her, she is terrific. The office staff, hygienists, dental assistants have all been lovely as well, very kind and helpful, and the cleanings I have had have been really thorough. Overall a great experience!

Your first visit is designed to be both thorough and welcoming. Here’s what it includes:
- A complete dental exam to assess your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health
- Digital x-rays for a detailed look below the surface (with significantly lower radiation than traditional x-rays)
- A gentle, professional cleaning tailored to your needs
- A one-on-one conversation with your dentist, who will walk you through any findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan if needed
We’ll also review your dental history, talk about your goals (whether it’s improving your oral health or brightening your smile), and give you time to ask questions—without feeling rushed.
The environment is designed to feel calm and spa-like, so you can relax and actually enjoy taking care of your smile.
We recommend coming in for a cleaning and checkup every six months, which is the standard for most patients. These regular visits help us catch small issues—like early signs of decay or gum disease—before they become more serious or expensive to treat.
However, some patients may need to come in more frequently, especially if they have a history of gum disease, wear orthodontic appliances like aligners, or are more prone to plaque buildup. Your dentist will work with you to create a personalized care plan based on your needs, so you’re always getting the right level of care at the right time.
Even if everything looks great, cleanings help remove plaque and tartar that you can’t get rid of with brushing and flossing alone—and they’re key to keeping your smile feeling fresh and looking its best.
Call us at 212-257-3455. Just make sure to do so more than 48 hours before your appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge you a $50 fee. If you don’t make it at all, we’ll have to charge you a $100 fee. This is because we reserved that time specifically for you, and our appointments are in high demand.
